Reflection Room @ Peabody Library Grand Opening

Reflection Room @ Peabody Library Grand Opening In-Person

Do you need a moment of peace during your busy day? Are you seeking a quiet space to clear your mind and find your center?

We’re excited to announce the opening of The Reflection Room, a meditation space at Peabody Library. This dedicated area provides a serene environment where students, faculty, and staff can practice mindfulness, meditation, and reflection away from the demands of academic life.

Located on the ground floor of Peabody Library in Room 003, the Reflection Room features comfortable cushions, soft lighting, a sound machine, and tools to help bring your mind to rest. Whether you need a five-minute breather or a longer contemplation session, this space is available during regular library hours and offers scheduled facilitated sessions.

Join us for our opening ceremony on February 24th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., during which we’ll briefly introduce the mediation space and light refreshments.

We’ll also be joined by Edwin Melgar & K9 Corporal Max from the Vanderbilt University Police Department.
